Katrena “Kat” Mae Johnson was born on February 12th, 1960, to Lula Mae Williams in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She passed away at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Thursday, February 16th, 2023 at the age of 63.
Katrena grew up as the youngest of 7 children. She attended Sapulpa High School where she was a Varsity Cheerleader and a member of the color guard.
Katrena married the love of her life, Randy, on November 26th, 1977. Katrena was a homemaker and mother of three and cared deeply for her six grandchildren. Her eyes lit up every time she got to see them. She loved her two cats, Teddy Jack and Stormy. Katrena enjoyed coloring, watching crime TV, crossword puzzles, butterflies, music in all forms, and just simply having a good time. She never met a stranger and to know her was to love her. She was a joyful presence with her colorful clothes, long painted nails, and bubbly personality. She was a free spirit that believed everyone should live the life they wanted.
Katrena was preceded in death by her mother Lula Mae Williams, brother Jimmy Loyd Williams, father-in-law Ted Johnson, brother-in-law Don Napier, brother-in-law Bob Boren, sister Georgia Ann Boren, sister Mary Lou Holt, and great nephew Nicholas Garrick Wade Herring.
Katrena is survived by her loving husband Randy Johnson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Son, Brandon Johnson and wife Mary Johnson of Owasso, Oklahoma. Daughter, Brooke Johnson of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Son, Cody Johnson and wife Alexandra Johnson of Tulsa. Sister, Barbara Napier of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Sister, Peggy John of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Sister, Linda Frederick and husband Jim Frederick of Victoria, Texas. Brother-in-law, Jerry Holt of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. And numerous nieces and nephews.
Grandchildren: Kalob Johnson of Owasso, Oklahoma, Emma Myers of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Phoenix Johnson of Lubbock, Texas, McKayla Kirk of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Anna Myers of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Declan Johnson of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
