On Thursday, December 17, 2020, Katherine Miller (Kathy), loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend to many passed away peacefully at the age of 68 in Tulsa, OK.
Kathy was raised in Southern California and lived most of her adult life in Las Animas, Colorado where she raised her two sons. Kathy thrived in her profession as an auditor for Corrections Corporation of America.
In 2018 Kathy moved to Sapulpa, OK to be near her three grandchildren. She spent her days gardening, crafting, cooking, and relaxing at the lake, but most of her time was spent caring for her loving family.
Kathy was born on December 20, 1951 in Albuquerque, NM to Joe and Juanita (Rodriguez) Brusuelas.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Miller, of Sapulpa, OK; her children, Warren and Sara Bryning of Sapulpa, OK, Michael Bryning of Las Animas, CO; three grandchildren, Evan, Jett and Lola Bryning of Sapulpa, OK; two step children Nicki and Jake Ehrlich of Cheraw, CO and Daniel and Amanda Miller of Ft. Collins, CO; four step grandchildren, Shaynna, Karlie, JJ, and Camden of Cheraw, CO.
She is survived by siblings Josie, Ruben, Herman, Christine, Juanita, Gil, Cece, Marie and Rita and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Juanita Brusuelas, and siblings Betty and Ted.
At her request, Kathy will be cremated and a Celebration of her Life will be scheduled at a later date.
