Juanita Evans

Juanita Jewel (Wilson) Evans 93, of Sapulpa, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 29, 2022, at Franciscan Villa in Broken Arrow.

Juanita was born December 16, 1928, in Verdigris, Oklahoma to Jewel C. (“J.C.”) Wilson and Helen Marie Glenn. She went to both Kellyville and Sapulpa High Schools; but graduated from Sapulpa. Her first job out of High School was at American Heritage Bank for Guy Berry in Sapulpa.  She moved to San Diego, California and there met and married the father of her children, Charles “Bill” Clifford Pritchard.

She was the eldest of her siblings, and is preceded in death by her husband Elwin “Red” Evans, mother, Helen Marie Wilson; her father, Jewel C. (“J.C.”) Wilson; her first husband Charles C. Pritchard Sr. and siblings, Loretta Marie Berg, John Dewayne Wilson, Robert James Wilson; Sandra Kay Wilson and Geraldine Wilson.

Survivors include her sister-in law, Donna (Belk) Wilson, her son, Charles Clifford Pritchard Jr. and his wife Aurora Martin; daughters, Linda S. Sluder and Helen Jewel Pritchard.

Grandchildren are Christopher Scott Pritchard, Nicole Lynn Sluder-Shaputis and Mark Thomas Grant II of Sapulpa. Great-grandchildren, Zachary Charles Shaputis, Kenzington Grace Grant, Cooper Thomas Grant and a Great-Great granddaughter Natalie Nicole Shaputis, plus a host of numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Honorary Pallbearers, Charles Clifford Pritchard Jr, Dewayne William Berg, Christopher Pritchard, Mark Grant II, and Zachary Shaputis.

Visitation is set for Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 6 to 8 PM at the Smith’s Funeral Home 1208 S. Main Street, Sapulpa, OK.

Services will be at Smith’s Funeral Home, Friday, May 6, 2022, at 2:00PM. She will be laid to rest with her Husband Elwin “Red” Evans at Greenhill Cemetery
