Juanda Aliene Sawyer was born April 16, 1935 to John and Sylvia Childress in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She departed this life January 17, 2020.
Juanda enjoyed going to church. She also enjoyed baking, bingo, sewing, gardening and organizing activities for her friends.
She is survived by her children Sylvia Harper of Disney, Oklahoma, Penny Dunn and husband Rick of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Timothy Butts of Kiefer, Oklahoma and Vicky Conley and husband Randy of Catoosa, Oklahoma, adopted daughter Joellen Friend and husband Richard; brother Freddie Childress and wife Alice of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; sister Paulette Cooper and husband Les of Depew, Oklahoma; as well as 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gary Sawyer, daughter Jewel Provence and siblings Frankie Childress, Peggy Bolin and Dennis Childress.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Jan 23 at 10:00-11:00 AM at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Jan 22 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa
Final Resting Place will be in Kelleyville City Cemetery Main St., Kellyville
