Momma left us on the morning of January 4th. We surrounded her with all the laughter and love she enjoyed in her life and she left content and at peace.
Her parents and brother met her at the gates to Heaven, along with other dear family and friends who went ahead of her.
She was the glue that held us all together. Nothing made her happier than being a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She counted her wealth in the number of lives she guided through the good times and the bad. There was always food on the table and a warm place to stay. Her beauty and grace were beyond words and she left a legacy of love and caring that reached far beyond just family.
From her humble beginnings on the rural farm outside Catoosa, Oklahoma with her six brothers and sisters she bloomed into a beautiful lady, full of laughter and joy cherished by all.
She and her knight in shining armor, Jack rode through the hills and valleys of marriage for almost 62 blissful years and produced three daughters, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She will be sorely missed by all that were fortunate enough to have known her. She instilled strength and dedication in us and knowing Momma automatically made you a better person. She lead by example and left us traditions that will carry on through the generations to come. Visitation will be from 4-7pm on Tuesday January 7, 2020 and Funeral Services will be Noon on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 both at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the South Heights Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home 1208 South Main in Sapulpa.
