Joseph Lowell “Jo Mo” Mosquito 48, of Sapulpa, went to be the Lord on May 12th, 2019 at his mother’s home. Joe was born March 8th, 1971 in Claremore, Ok to Vickie McIntosh and Ira Lynn Mosquito. He graduated from Sapulpa High School and later attended Haskell Indian Nations University. Joe served as a Muscogee (Creek) Nation Lighthorse for 8 years. At that time, he received a Certificate of Gratitude from Oklahoma City for his help during the Oklahoma City Bombing.
Joe was a very loving man to his children and family. He would do anything to make you laugh if you felt down, even laughed if you fell. Joe loved to dance. His favorite thing to do was scare people whenever he got the chance, but you could never scare him. Also, he loved softball and football, whether it be OU or the Cowboys. Boomer!! When you were around Joe, he would light up the room, he was such a joy to be around and always had a smile on his face. Joe would never back down to anything, he was invincible to anything that came his way. He fought all the way until his last breath. Joe will be greatly missed, but his love for everyone will live on forever within us. hEtOhA! (Until we see each other again!)
