In Loving Memory of Dr. Jon C. Rogers
December 13, 1946 – April 24, 2025
Dr. Jon C. Rogers of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed away on April 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 78 years old.
Born on December 13, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri, Jon was raised in Sapulpa. He met the love of his life, Amy, during his senior year at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. They were married the next year in 1971.
A dedicated veterinarian, Jon cared for generations of families and their pets through Gardner Park Veterinary Clinic, which he and Amy faithfully operated for over 45 years. His commitment to service extended beyond his profession—Jon also gave his time as a Sapulpa City Commissioner and served as President of the Sapulpa School Board. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Jon’s life was defined by integrity, loyalty, compassion, and quiet strength. He was a devoted husband, a proud and loving father, and a deeply cherished grandfather. Whether he was spending time with family or enjoying the outdoors he so loved, Jon brought warmth, wisdom, and steadiness to every moment.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Amy Rogers, his partner in love and life for 54 joyful years. He leaves behind his daughters, Courtney Parks and Kendall Schulz, and their families: Hoby and Cade Parks, and Ryan, Lou, and Sam Schulz. Jon is also lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, and their families.
Jon’s legacy of kindness, quiet leadership, integrity, and devotion to family and community will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
