Jerry Hausner

Jerry was born October 15th, 1941 to Athol and May Hausner in Tucson, Arizona. He was the 6th of 7 children.
He attended Allen Bowden and Sapulpa High School then served 3 years in the United States Air Force in the mid 1960’s.
He married Mary Griffin on October 20, 1967.
Jerry was a draftsman by trade. He grew up as a caddie at The Oaks Country Club and caddied for Bob Rossbergh in the 1958 U.S. Open at Southern Hills Country Club finishing in 5th place and he caddied in the 1970 PGA Championship, also at Southern Hills, for Bob Murphy who finished tied for 2nd with Arnold Palmer.
Jerry was an avid golfer who carried a 2 handicap in his prime. He also liked baseball and OU football.
Jerry is preceded in death by his father, mother and 3 brothers: Hermon, Jimmy and Jackie and one sister: Lavon Nabozny.
He is survived by his sons Steven, of Sapulpa and Larry and John from Texas, one sister, Jane Spencer of Sapulpa, and one brother Wilbert and his wife Susie of Hectorville and many nieces and nephews.
