On Tuesday, December 24, 2019, Jeffrey (Jeff) Bedingfield, loving father of four children, passed away at the age of 56.
Jeff was born on September 30, 1963 in Sapulpa, OK to Grover and Phyllis (Post) Bedingfield. He worked as a CNC machinist at Gardner Denver in Tulsa, OK. He raised his 3 children sons, Matthew and Kyle, and daughter, Kailee. He had a long-distance father/daughter relationship with his other daughter Leigha David who is located in Texas.
Jeff had a passion for camping, fishing, rock-n-roll music, wrestling, and for cars, especially his 1971 orange Z28 Camaro. He enjoyed grilling and would often be found outdoors. He was passionate about rock music and went to Rocklahoma most every year. His love of music primarily included John Bonham and his band Led Zeppelin. He was known for his energetic personality and willingness to help. He was the type of friend that you can call anytime of the day and he would come help without hesitation.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father Grover, his mother Phyllis, grandparents Virginia and Leo Post, his sister, Sarah, and his brothers Gregory and Steve. He is survived by his four children, Leigha, Matthew, Kailee, and Kyle, his brother Dick and wife Susan Bedingfield of Connecticut, his nephew Dax and wife Kami Bedingfield of Connecticut, his nephew Andrew and wife Michelle Bedingfield of Connecticut, his niece Jenafer and husband Mickey Foreman of Oolagah, his nephew Steven Bedingfield Jr, the mother of his children Karen Brooks., his dog Gizzmo, and several great nieces, and great nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the First Church of God in Sapulpa, OK at 1101 E Hastain at 10:00 am. Reception following service will be held at the church. No viewings are scheduled. Flowers or donations may be sent to the home of the children at 701 N Elizabeth, Sapulpa, OK 74066.
