In celebration of Life of Jeanne Kay Tankersley, 76 of Sapulpa, she received her Heavenly wings on
April 10, 2021.
Jeanne was born to Edna Jean Campbell and Frank Evans on December 9, 1944 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She attended Sapulpa Public Schools. She earned her LPN license with an Associate’s Degree, and worked in the nursing field for over twenty years. She was also a licensed beautician, a key punch operator, drove a school bus for Vo-Tech and could even drive an 18-wheeler.
She was married to “The love of her life”, Famous Jeremiah Tankersley for 30 years. He preceded her in death in October, 2018. Her hobbies were embroidery, crocheting and made handmade quilts. She loved collecting coins, of which, The Walking Liberty Dollar was her favorite.
One of her greatest pleasures was spending time with her grand and great-grand children. She had a compassionate heart, was willing to support her family, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Preceded in death was her loving husband Famous Jeremiah Tankersley, her mother Edna Jean Sperling, her father Frank Evans, her step-father Kenneth Sperling, one brother Laroy Evans, and one sister Ana Estepp.
She is survived by her two daughters: Cynthia Floyd (David), Karen Keeling (Ron)
Four Grandchildren: Dustin Light (Jamie), Shane Griffin (Melissa), Brandi Knight (Codi Schaefer), Alisha Hayes; Great-children Mariah Kaye, Marinda Lynn, McKenzie Jo, William Michael, Zairah Belle
Great Grandchildren: Justin Knight, Bailee Knight and Alexis Knight
One brother: Billy Wayne Sperling
Four step-children and step grand-children, step great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew, a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, April 15th at 11:00 am.
