Jackie Ray Caseboldt Jr. passed away on September 13, 2021. Jackie was born August 26, 1963, in Pawnee, OK to Jack and Evelyn (Tootsie) Caseboldt. Jackie grew up in Gore, OK where he met the love of his life Shannon whom he married on August 6, 1988. Jackie and Shannon raised their two boys, Trey and Taylor, in Sapulpa, OK where he lived out the rest of his life. Jackie was a graduate of Gore High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Education from Northeastern State University. Jackie was a beloved teacher who impacted many students throughout his 32-year career. He was a recipient of the 2019 Rennard Strickland Education Leadership Award presented by the Tulsa Indian Affairs Commission, a published research scientist in the American Chemical Society, and assisted in the writing of the Advanced Placement Chemistry exam given to high schoolers across the nation. Jackie was a dedicated coach for many years for tennis, football, track, and golf in which he helped many student athletes prepare for college athletics. He also served on athletic boards such as President of the Oklahoma Tennis Coaches Association. Jackie loved to stay busy and was always on the go. He loved to travel, ski, play tennis, and watch football. Boomer! Jackie is survived by his wife of 33 years, Shannon, of Sapulpa, OK; Son, Trey Caseboldt and wife Molly of Owasso, OK; Son, Taylor Caseboldt and wife Lauryn of Sapulpa, OK; grandsons Cameron and Samuel Caseboldt; Sister, Carmella McFarland and husband Larry of Gore, OK; Aunt Phyllis Hust and husband Ben of Sallisaw, OK; Aunt Carol Williams (Keith) of Gore, Aunt Ruby Mannon, of Vian, OK, and Uncle Jimmie Caseboldt of Sallisaw; and numerous other family and friends who he loved very much. Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Tootsie Caseboldt. Grandparents Jim and Emma Caseboldt, Vian, OK, and Carl and Mildred Williams, Gore, OK.
