Jack Powell

Jack Powell passed peacefully in his home, on March 22nd, 2022.
He was born on November 4th, 1948 in Bakersfield, California to Jack and Billie Powell. Jack was an ornery child and if he wasn’t already in trouble he was looking for it. He was definitely a ladies man.
Jack met the love of his life Brenda, while she was working at the VFW in Sapulpa, and they began dating on September 22nd, 1990 and have been inseparable ever since. After seven years of dating, they united in marriage on September 22nd, 1997 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Together Jack and Brenda have three Daughters Jacqueline (Susie), Shelly, and Ashley.
Jack worked construction for many years and was a foreman. In his spare time Jack enjoyed many hobbies, such as fishing, working outside and was a frequent patron at the VFW. He was a family man and his greatest treasures have always been his kids and grandkids. He was witty and quick and always up to mischief. You never knew what would come out of his mouth, but it would be sure to make you laugh. He was the rock of this family and he will be truly missed.
