Jack Richard Morris, 74, of Sapulpa passed from this life on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. He was born November 7, 1944 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Everett and Hepsey (James) Morris. He graduated from Sapulpa High School. After graduation Jack joined the United States Army and served a tour in Vietnam. He was proud of being a Vietnam Veteran and was a lifetime member of the VFW.
Jack meet the love of his life, Edna Ashton and they were married April 28, 1978. He worked for Douglas furniture until he retired. He was always willing to give a helping hand to anybody who needed it. He was very involved with the Kellyville Senior Citizens. Jack was a “jack” of all trades. He enjoyed tinkering and could fix pretty much anything. If he couldn’t fix it, it probably wasn’t broke. Jack was a loving husband, father and he especially loved being PaPa to his grandchildren. Jack was greatly loved and will be forever missed. His memories will live on in all who loved him.
Jack is survived by his loving wife Edna of the home; three children Troy Shields of Odessa, Texas, Ronda (Trey) Shields of Broken Arrow, and JR Morris of the home; he is also survived by his grandchildren Shawna Hogan of Kansas City Mo., Shey Fisher of Broken Arrow, Moire Fisher also of Broken Arrow, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Jack Richard Morris will be Friday, June 21, 2019 at 10:00am in Traditions Funeral Chapel, 35 S. Main in Kellyville, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, Kellyville,
