Jack Eugene McIntosh, Jr., 71, passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.
Born November 14, 1948 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, he is the son of Jack Eugene McIntosh, Sr. and Delores Jean (Harris) McIntosh.
He attended K-8 at Sacred Heart School in Sapulpa and graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1967. He then attended Northeastern State College for two years. On June 28, 1969, he married. Shortly after that he joined the U.S. Army.
Jack worked in the financial field for many years, including City Finance, USAA and Metris. He was a supervisor at all three firms. After retiring from the financial business, he became an armed security guard until he suffered a mild stroke in the summer of 2017. He then retired. Jack loved to fish with his two sons, Mac and William. He was also an avid hunter and golfer for more than fifty years, two sports he particularly enjoyed with his best friend of sixty-five years, Bill Masters. Jack also loved to watch the OU Sooners on TV.
Jack was preceded in death by his father, Jack. He is survived by his two sons, Jack “Mac” Eugene McIntosh III, and William Mason McIntosh; his mother, Delores Jean McIntosh; his sister Gwen Jean McIntosh; and two nephews, Randall “Tyke” Vaughn Davis (Diane), and Ryan Todd Davis; and cousins Ronnie McIntosh (Donna), Gary McIntosh, Linda McIntosh Schuller (Steve), and Randy McIntosh (Merry).
Graveside services will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Tulsa, OK on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.. Arrangements are under the care of Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa, OK, 74066
