Jack Carl Thompson, 83, passed away January 26, 2023 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. He was born August 22, 1939 in Disney, Oklahoma to Carl Jack and Margaret Thompson.
Jack’s family relocated to Kellyville and later Sapulpa. He attended both Kellyville and Sapulpa public schools. He began his service with the United States Army on August 1, 1958 and received his GED while in the Army. He spent a year in Korea with the military and returned home to finish his service. He received an honorable discharge on July 30, 1960. He met and married the love of his life on February 8, 1964, Joella Moore. Jack worked at B.C. Affliliated Food and mostly auto collision repair shops in the Tulsa area. He received ongoing technical certification from General Motors. He loved serving the Lord. He was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church, served as a Deacon, in the Jail Ministry, in Vacation Bible School, ministering and teaching God’s love wherever he could.

Jack is survived by his wife Joella; son Jason Wade and wife Heidi and grandson Jaiden; daughter Melina Louise and husband Devin Elder; along with numerous extended family members and friends.
