Henry Burley Smith passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on February 1st, 2022, at his home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Henry was born January 25, 1956, in Odessa, Texas to Margaret and Burley Smith. He was the youngest of three children. He graduated high school in Enid, Oklahoma. His work life consisted of custodial services, security guard and for a time he was a roadie with Garth Brooks and his band. Henry’s current job was with BIOS as a caregiver for mentally challenged patients.
Henry met his wife LaDonna at their church. They were married for fourteen years. Henry was a member of Faith Baptist Church, where he enjoyed Sunday school, men’s breakfast on Saturday’s and being a part of his church family.
Henry had a love for country and western music, old cars and for those who knew him well, good food.
He is survived by his loving wife, LaDonne; his son, Michael; stepchildren, Nancy Keigley, Frank Evans, Lisa Wiggens, and Leslie Preston; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sister, Naomi Smith of Bristow, OK and brother, Johnny Smith of Sapulpa, OK.
Henry was loved and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral services for Henry Smith will be held on 1:00 PM Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Faith Baptist Church in Sapulpa, Oklahoma with Robert Wagoner officiating.
