Henry Houston Payne III
From an infant he was known as Sam but Dad always called him “baby boy”.
Sam Payne, 29, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed away on December 24, 2020.
On July 10, 1991, Sam was born to Henry Payne II and Dru Hudgins at Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
After graduation, Sam worked in steel shops operating various machinery with the latest one being a plasma machine.
Sam graduated from Kellyville High School which was an end of his many sports.
His favorite sport being baseball of which he had the opportunity to participate in the Little League World Series in Kansas City, Missouri.
Besides sports, Sam spent a lot time going on fishing trips. At a young age he was able to conquer a fly fishing rod at Roaring River State Park. A favorite spot of his.
Another enjoyment was spending time with his daughters.
Sam is survived by his daughters, Caelyn Payne and Jordan East. His mother, Dru Butler and spouse, Derrick Butler, his father, Henry Payne II and spouse, Roya Payne.
His 5 sisters, Madison, Derricka, Onyx, Cierra, and Destiny Butler.
His 2 brothers, Houston Payne and Cody Butler.
His maternal grandparents, Harvey and Sue Hudgins.
His paternal grandparent, Carolyn Hall.
His closest uncle Brian Hudgins, along with other numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and loved ones.
