Glenn Allen Yates was born April 8, 1963 to Phyllis Jean Yates and Hollis Hiram Yates in Lubbock, Texas. He moved to Oklahoma when he was 16. He passed away from cirrhosis of the liver on May 23rd, 2021. He is preceded in death by his Father Hollis Hiram Yates; Mother Phyllis Jean Yates; and Sister Carla.Joe Abrams. He is survived by his wife Linda Louise Yates, Stepson Carey Neil Bolin, Brothers James Hollis Yates, and David Hiram Yates, and sister Glenda Ann Stevens, as well as many nieces and nephews. Glenn married Linda on January 3rd, 1992 at Pretty Water Church. They remained married for 29 1/2 years. Glenn enjoyed bowling, hanging out with the family, fishing, crime dramas, and loved the company of his many nieces and nephews. Glenn had a love for wrestling and enjoyed going to church. Glenn was known for talking on the phone and waking everyone up at all hours of the night just to talk to them. He was given many nicknames. They include Motormouth, Baby Son, Big Ears, Kermit, and Shorty.
