Geraldine F. (Northcutt) Davis 84, of Sapulpa, Okla. Passed away on October 10, 2020 at
her residence surrounded by her family and in the care of her son, Ricky Davis. She was
born in Eufaula, Okla. on November 5,1935 to C.E.(Shorty)and Gladys Northcutt.
Geraldine retired after 33 years in the oncology unit at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa. Upon
Retiring, she went on to work in the Deli at Reasor’s in Sapulpa. She was a citizen of the
Muskogee Creek Nation and received services from the Nation. While in high school,
she was baptized into the Big Arbor Baptist Church by the Rev. Boney McIntosh.
Geraldine was an avid football fan. Her favorite team, of course, was her beloved Eufaula
Ironheads. She attended Eufaula schools from Dixie on through Eufaula High, graduating
in 1954. In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband,
Richard Davis, and daughter Carolyn Sue Boyd; two sisters, Bonnie Mosier and Joyce
Ables; one brother, Jessie (Jay) Northcutt. Mrs. Davis is survived by her son, Ricky Davis
of Sapulpa; grandchildren, Melissa Boyd, and Gena (Boyd) Hall of Bristow, OK.; great
grandchildren, Karli and Kane Hall; sisters, Betty Wood of Eufaula, OK, Reba Cardoza of
Vacaville, CA., and Roberta Zielke of Edmond, OK.; one brother, Leroy Northcutt of
Canadian, OK. and a host of loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews. The family would like
to acknowledge and thank a very special caregiver, Rachel Hayworth, for her 4-year
loving care of Geraldine. We also thank Lisa and Lynette of Good Shepherd Hospice for
their comfort and care of her.
Visitation 5pm to 7 pm Saturday October 17th at Smith Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 31st at
Green Hill Cemetery, Sapulpa with the Rev. Noah Marshall officiating. Reception will
follow at the family home at 119 W. Monterey, Sapulpa, OK.
