Gentry Kay Waldon was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on September 9th 1951 to the loving parents of Elenora Waldon and Martines Waldon. She was a very loving individual and was all about her family. She worked for Shell Oil Company and First Data. She loved cooking, decorating, arts and crafts, and home décor. She attended elementary school in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Later graduated from Booker T. High School in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Gentry was married to David Bell until his passing. Surviving them is their 2 beautiful daughters, Tamara Bell and Bridget Bell. Gentry was later married to Gregory Allen Pettie.
Preceding her in death is her parents Elenora Waldon and Martines Waldon; brothers Carl Waldon, Lorenzo Waldon; and a sister Ruth Waldon.
Gentry passed away at home on November 28th 2018. Surviving her is her husband Gregory Pettie; her 2 daughters, Tamara Bell and Bridget Bell. Gentry is also survived by her siblings, Angelia Smith, Beverly Hopkins, Vincent Waldon, Gary Waldon; grandchildren, Adairia Easiley, Jasmine Easiley, Gerald Easiley, Jordan Rucker, Halle Rucker, and Garianna Sample; and her great-grandchildren, Alexander Jr. Lanigan, Tristan Lanigan, Gabriel Lanigan, and Gavin Hill.
Gentry was very loved by family and friends. She will forever be greatly missed. Until we meet again – tell everyone we said hello.
Funeral Services are scheduled at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12 – 6 pm on Tuesday. 400 E. Teel Rd. Sapulpa 918-224-2312
