Frances Geraldine Frear was born August 24, 1931 in Oklahoma City, OK. Upon graduating high school, she began a lifelong career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, where she retired after thirty five years. While living in Sapulpa, she was active in various local civic organizations supporting the community. Fran was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Sapulpa.
She loved family gatherings during the holidays, most memorably, the Independence Day celebrations around the pool and Christmas when she enjoyed decorating her home for the season and wearing her Mrs. Claus Apron.
She is survived by her sister, Linda Carroll; her son, Dail, his wife Mary; and step-son Jimmy Frear; grandson, Eric Summers his wife Shawnna; granddaughter, Shayna Benedict; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Fran was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jim Frear; her son Roc Summers and brother Darrell Smith.
Fran was a kind and loving mother and grandmother and loved by all. She will always hold a special place in our hearts and we know she is at peace and in the presence of God.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
