Frances Coonce

Frances Jean Coonce ,“Sis” 77, of Sapulpa, went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2019 surrounded by her family and friends. Frances was born May 31, 1942 in Sapulpa, OK to Howard and Grace Little. She graduated from Sapulpa High School. She retired from the City of Sapulpa in 2014 where she worked in the accounting department.
Sis met Charles (Buster) when she was 18 years old and they married soon after in 1961. They were married for 57 years. She was a member of Garden Heights Church where she was actively involved in her ladies Sunday school group as well as many other activities. Her and Buster loved to go camping in Colorado and many other places.
She loved to read, crochet, machine embroidery, play bunco with her friends, go to church, get her nails done, and read her Bible.
Sis was the most loving person. She had a great sense of humor and was ornery which made her an absolute blast to be around. She had a positive and energetic personality and loved her family more than anything in the world.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Grace and Howard Little; and her brothers, James Little and Jackie Little.
She is survived by husband, Buster; daughter, Cheryl Fulbright and husband, Randy of Mounds; granddaughters, Crystal McCawley and husband, Billy from Glenpool, Amber Hogue and husband, Michael from Purcell, and Marissa Fulbright from Chicago; great-granddaughters, Tinlie and Reagan McCawley; brothers, Melvin Little (Lynn), Carl Little (Linda), Roy Little (Linda) all from Sapulpa; sisters-n-law, Sue Coonce, and Katherine Baker (Henry) of Sapulpa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Garden Heights Freewill Baptist Church, 3415 Summit Blvd, Sand Springs, OK. Entombment will follow at Green Hill Mausoleum, Sapulpa, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.
