Emma June Bell, 87, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2021, at her home in Sapulpa surrounded by her family.
June was born on June 14, 1934, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Clayton and Lura Rahder. She graduated valedictorian of her class from Oaks Mission High School. She was employed with Townsend Graphics as well as Worldwide Distribution. However, her greatest joy was being a homemaker. She loved taking care of her family and when she was able to, was always working on a sewing project.
June met the love of her life Harold Lloyd Bell, and they were married on June 13, 1952, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2010, they celebrated 57 years of marriage.
June was a member of Eastside General Baptist Church from 1961 until her passing. She was the Sunday school teacher to children of all ages, and everyone wanted to be in her class. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great granddaughter Emma Anne and her friends. She had a caring and compassionate heart and was always willing to give a helping hand. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by her children; Wilma June Minton of Sapulpa, Ronald Keith and Angela Bell of Sand Springs, Sue Ann Bell of Tulsa and Tracy Denise Bell of Tulsa. Her grandchildren; Amy Dawn Wilson of Sapulpa, Andrea Maxine Bell of Sand Springs, Clinton Keith Bell of Sand Springs, and Paige Elizabeth and Carson Meeker of Bixby. Her Great Grandchildren; Emma Anne Bell of Sand Springs, and soon to be River Lee Meeker of Bixby.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lloyd Bell and her son Lloyd Ray Bell. Her parents Clayton William and Lura Ann Rahder, her brothers; Floyd, Fred, and infant brother. Her sisters; Mary Jean and Betty Lou. As well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be Monday, December 20, 2021, at 1:00 pm, at Beams of Light Church in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Family visitation will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 3-5 at the Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa.
