Elwa Robbins

Elwa Sunelle (Fisk) Robbins 86, of Sapulpa, went to be with the Lord on January 27, 2019 at The Gardens Nursing Home surrounded by family and friends.
Elwa was born on September 7, 1932 to Earl Ray and Viva (Fergeson) Fisk in Pearson Ok. She graduated from Depew High School and Droughon Business College.
Elwa married the love of her life James Wyatt (Dub) Robbins on June 15, 1951. They were married 46 years. She and James served at Glenwood Assembly of God church for over 40 years in various positions. Later in life, Elwa attended Woodlake Church.
She enjoyed traveling, camping with family and friends, attending and watching OU Football. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandkids where the highlight of her life. For over forty years, ever Tuesday Elwa would meet up with some of her special friends at Ken’s Pizza to enjoy lunch and good fellowship.
Elwa is survived by her three children, Rita Cherry and her husband, Boyd of Sapulpa; Alan Robbins and his wife, Darla of Sapulpa; and Anita Robbins of Sapulpa; Eight grandchildren, Gary, Hillary, Ryan, Hannah, James, Noah, Victoria, and Julia; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Wesson; many nieces and nephews, countless family and friends whom she loved dearly.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Crosspointe Assembly Of God Church, 450 E Speer Ave, Sapulpa, OK. Interment to follow at South Heights Cemetery, Sapulpa, OK.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.
