Edwin worked at the Tulsa World newspaper for over 35 years.  Edwin and Gerry were very active in the Tulsa Association of the Deaf and First Christian Church of Sapulpa.  They attended many events held by the Deaf association and liked spending time with their friends.   Everyone that met Edwin admired him.  He was smart, hard-working, funny, and enjoyed life, especially traveling with his sister Ruby and her husband, Harold.
