Dorothy Pauline (Fox) Gregory passed from this life peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the age of 83, at her home in Tulsa. She was born in Sapulpa on April 26, 1935 to Daniel and Ethel “Mamo” Fox. She had 2 sisters, Patti Dethloff and Joan Wood as well as one brother, Earl Fox. All preceding her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Karla Jean Gregory and the father of her children Charles Gregory. Dorothy is survived by children; Karen Canady of Sapulpa, OK, Kevin Gregory and wife Mary of Okmulgee, OK, Kelly Gregory of Tulsa and Kerri Dawn Walker of Sapulpa, OK. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren; Chad Canady of Broken Arrow, OK Shawn Canady of Tulsa, OK, Mickayla Gregory of Okmulgee, OK, Bryce Gregory of Okmulgee, OK, Kristany McCarthy of Sapulpa, OK, Kassie Stockham of Sapulpa, OK, Kourtney Queen of Sapulpa, OK, Steffen Crow of Stafford, VA, Sarah Aigret of Owasso, OK. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great, great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Dorothy graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1953. She worked in retail management most of her life, spending almost 20 years at Edison Jewelers in Tulsa. As a Navy wife for 20 years, living all over the United States, she had the opportunity to travel to several countries. She enjoyed playing Bunco weekly with her friends and play Bingo at the Elks Lodge in Sapulpa as well as many churches. She also enjoyed walking and picking up golf balls outside the golf courses for exercise. She secretly loved collecting them. She loved all animals, especially her grand-pets. She loved working in the yard with her many flower gardens. She loved her friends and family unconditionally. She was the most loving, generous Momma there ever was. Her family and friends will treasure the time spent and memories made with her. She will be greatly missed until they meet again…
Funeral Services are scheduled at 2 pm Friday, February 22, 2019 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with entombment in Green Hill Memorial Mausoleum. Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 Thursday evening at Green Hill. 918-224-2312/www.greenhillok.com
