Doris Ann Lawson, 80, passed away at her home in Sapulpa on May 4, 2018. She married Roy Lawson on November 10, 1954 and was a loving wife, a loving mother to their 3 children and loving nanny to 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Doris was born in Dewar, Oklahoma to William “Bill” and Grace Goodman on April 26, 1938. She attended Dewar Public Schools. She loved square dancing, camping, traveling, bowling, OU sports, OKC Thunder and Tops Club. She was in Tops Club more than 30 years and spent more than 50 years bowling.
Doris was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother Billy Joe, brother Johnny, son Bud, daughter Brenda, grandson Michael, granddaughter Erica, son-in-law Larry York and brother-in-law Jerry Adams. She is survived by her daughter Connie York and sisters Barbara Ryal (Wiley) and Mary Adams, grandchildren Larry, Jennifer, Amy, Deena, Brandy, Lisa, Bridget, Lindsey and Brooke as well as 26 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Doris was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday at First Baptist Church (Sapulpa) followed by burial in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation is at Green Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-6 pm and Wednesday from 9 am until 8 pm. The family has entrusted the services to Green Hill Funeral Home. 400 E.
