Donna R. Frank was born March 24, 1932 in Norman, Oklahoma to John and Grace Lee Bowman Frank.
She passed from this life on Wednesday December 9, 2020 in Jenks, Oklahoma. Donna held a variety of occupations before seriously devoting her time to free-lance writing. Her book, ‘Clay in the Master’s Hands’ was her loving tribute to her father, John Frank and Frankoma Pottery.
Donna was a professional masseuse, she spent fifteen years working as a night club performer, singer and theater personality. She was also the Director of the Theme Gallery at the 1968 San Antonio World’s HemisFair. The gallery housed fifty million dollars of art treasures from Spain.
Donna spent most of her time in Los Angeles, CA but returned to Sapulpa in 1993 to help her sister Joniece Frank, care for their mother. Upon her return to Sapulpa, she became an active member of the Frankoma Family Collectors Association and served as secretary for many years. She also joined her sister Joniece as a designer and sculptor with their pottery, FRANK X 2.
Donna was proceeded in death by parents John & Grace Lee Frank and her sister Joniece.
