Donald F. Harper of Sapulpa was born June 1, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James and Laura (Brantly) Harper. He passed away December 5, 2018 at Arbor Village in Sapulpa.
Don graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1967 and he served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam from October 1970 through November 1971. He has served his family and friends every day since. He married Betty Sue Guinn and the couple was blessed with 2 children; Tony and Crystal.
Don loved God, Country and Family and spent his life serving them with all he had. He enjoyed kids and not just his own. He always loved spending time with children. His favorite thing to do in his spare time was to go fishing. He will be missed by every person that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father James R. Harper and mother Laura E (Brantly) Harper; his sister Pamela Smith; brother Jimmy Harper; brother Freddie Harper; and his beautiful niece Jennifer Ann Meeks.
He is survived by the love of his life since second grade, Betty Sue (Guinn) Harper; his son Tony Harper; daughter Crystal Harper; brother Terry Harper; sister Beverly Lucas; daughter-in-law Shelly Harper; grandsons Hunter, Logan, Dylan and Preston; along with granddaughters Natalie and Josie; great-granddaughter Jolene; as well as many nephews, nieces, family and friends that he enjoyed so much.
Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, Dec 12 from 1:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel, Sapulpa 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa
