Dennis Lee Parker went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 10, 2021 surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren. Dennis was born August 13, 1940 to Robert and Elva Parker in Kellyville, Oklahoma. He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1958. Upon graduating, Dennis started his career alongside his father in the pipe fitting business. He purchased his first house in the 60’s from his father-in-law and began learning about construction. Soon after he would learn to build new homes and become a successful custom home builder. He developed several housing additions and built hundreds of homes and businesses in the Sapulpa area. He remained active having completed his last project in March of this year. Dennis was preceded in death by both of his parents and siblings Kay, Dan, Sonny, Michael, Shirley and Jim. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids and taking his daily rounds to see his building sites with his wife Margaret or his son Chris. Dennis loved the horse races, winning at the casino, singing and playing his guitar and OU Football. Dennis is survived by his wife of 30 years Margaret, his sisters Patsy Strong, Linda Parker and Sue Burke. His children Denny Parker, Chris Parker, Phillip Vorheis and wife Karin, Angela Whiteneck and husband Jody. His grandchildren Rob, Shelby, Cambdon, Kaytin, Cohlson, Cavin, Justin, Brett and Alyson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 15th at 10:00 am at the First Church of God located at 1011 E. Hastain Ave, Sapulpa, OK. A family viewing will be held at Green Hill Funeral Home in Sapulpa Wednesday July 14th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Arrangements are in the care of Green Hill Funeral Home.
