She is preceded in death by her father and stepmother Gail and Wilma Laidley, her mother Novella Rowen and her stepbrother Daniel Thompson.
She leaves behind her brother Tommy Laidley, her daughters Lindsay Heffernan and Briana Mast, along with their spouses, stepsister Linda Thompson, aunts and uncles, several cousins, nephews, nieces, her grandchildren and friends.
Deena was a victim of Huntington’s disease, a rare, inherited disease that causes the progressive breakdown of nerve cells in the brain and as of now, has no cure.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, in memory of Deena and the many affected by this awful disease.
