David Ira Sinor, 71, of Wilson passed away Wednesday. A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Raleigh Road Baptist Church, Wilson. The Pastors Eddie Maynard, Bill Hall, Joe Strange, and Tyler Campbell will officiate. The family will receive friends following service and other times at the home.
He was born in Sapulpa, OK, where he grew up on a farm. After serving in the Air Force, he earned his Bachelors at Oklahoma State University. He moved to Wilson in 1977 and worked at Ardagh Glass for 37 years before retiring as the Quality Control Manager in 2015.
David is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jean Matthews Sinor; daughter, Katie S. Larson (Neil) of Lansdale, Pennsylvania; sons, Mark Sinor (Christine) of Wilson and Brion Sinor of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Charlotte Larson, Caius Ira Sinor, Bishop Larson, Abbott Larson and Saoirse Sinor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Maxine Sinor; and brothers, Charley Sinor and Sam Sinor.
