David Lee Palinskee, Sr

David Lee Palinskee, Sr., age 77 passed away on August 17, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the husband of Linda J. Palinskee. They shared 55 years of marriage together.

Born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, he was the son of August and Jessie Palinskee. He graduated Sapulpa High School in 1960 and joined the US Army where he was stationed in France.

After his time in the service he attended Draughon Business School. It was at this time he met a young Linda Joyce Stanley who was also attending the school. The two were married February 18, 1964, in Tulsa and to this union 2 children were born. David worked as an accountant for numerous years till David and Linda took a leap of faith and opened their own business called D & L Bookkeeping and Tax Service in 1976.

David was baptized in July of 1969 as one of Jehovah’s Witness. He loved to go in the field ministry, but was especially fond of working the rural areas.

David was known as a shy man to some, but if you get him to talking you better grab a chair. He was also notorious for his elaborate collection of pens. A few of his favorite things would include: the color blue; Mickey Mouse; the game solitaire and canasta; and eating Mexican and Chinese foods.

David is preceded in death by his parents August and Jessie (Riser) Palinskee, a sister Tedde Jo Bristow.

David is survived by his wife Linda Palinskee; an aunt Mable Riser; a sister Darrell James and her husband Bill James. 2 Children – David Lee Palinskee Jr, Jessica Juanita Raines and her husband Darrell Wayne Raines. 4 Grandchildren – David (Trey) Lee Palinskee III; Daniel Lee Palinskee; Dakota Vincent Raines; Kevin Oliver Raines.

The memorial service will be held on September 7, 2019 at 2 o’clock, at the Kingdom hall of Jehovah’s Witness – 21066 S. 4175 Rd Claremore, OK
