David Wayne Henson 45, of Sapulpa left his earthly home for his heavenly home June 21, 2021.
David was born November 26, 1975 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to David and Karen Henson. He graduated from Sallisaw High School in 1994. He was employed at A-1 Rental in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
David married the love of his life, Janette Drywater on September 26, 2020.
David enjoyed music and fishing but most of all spending time with his family. He had such a caring and compassionate heart and was always there for you when you needed him. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janette of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, his children, Erika Henson of Bixby, Oklahoma, Kaytlyn Henson, Serenity Henson and Dalton Henson of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Katlyn and Kennedy Yocham of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Also, his mother, Karen Henson of Sallisaw, his brother, Tracy Henson , wife Denise of Melborn, Australia, Kimberly Henson of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, nieces Kaybree and Abbie Glover of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Jade and Riley Henson of Melborn, Australia, Aunt Sharon Henson of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, David L. Henson, maternal grandparents, Nancy and Jake Golay, paternal grandparents, Lena and Floyd Henson, 5 uncles and 3 aunts.
Family visitation: Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Celebration of Life: Friday, June 25, 2021 at 6:00 PM, Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
