Dave Bly, Jr

Ernest (Dave) Bly Jr., 76, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday October 8th 2019 in his home after winning two games of dominos. Dave was born May 22nd 1943 in Independence, Missouri to
the late Ernest D Bly Sr. and Evelyn (Yale) Bly.

Dave was a jack of all trades. He worked in the body shop business for forty-five years. He was also the fire chief of Stella, MO for eighteen years and organized the first responder of Stella, MO and then was active for fifteen years. Once he retired, you could find Dave still actively working on many different projects. From working on cars to making DIYs. He even helped his wife, Pat, design and make quilts. You could find Dave watching westerns and his favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs. Dave never knew a stranger, he was quick-witted and always had a joke under his sleeve. He spent his days entertaining, cooking and playing dominos with his friends. Dave loved attending bible study and let everyone know about his Lord and Savior, Jesus. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Bly. His two siblings, Tim Bly and Margie (Bly) Craven and many nieces and nephews. Dave had two children, David Bly of Kansas City and Dana (Bly) Edgell of Fallsburg, OH. Three step children, Brent Kimbrough of Saint Joseph, Kim Harris of Joplin, and the late Gary Lee Kimbrough. Dave loved his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dave Celebration of life will be held at The Sapulpa Senior Center 515 E. Dewey on November 2nd 2019 from 10am to 12pm Noon. The family will receive friends at this time.
