Darrell Ray Newton, 47 of Tulsa passed from this life on Monday, September 3, 2018 at St. John’s Medical Center, Tulsa, OK.
Darrell Ray Newton was born in Sapulpa, OK on March 14, 1971 to Edwin Ray and Judith Ann (Owen) Newton. He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1989. He worked in Sapulpa until 2010, when he went to work for MV Transportation in Tulsa as an Instructor/Driver, he was employed with them until his death.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Misty of the home; son, Lane Newton of Stillwater; daughter, Blaze Gardiner of the home; daughter, Annie Jackson; son, Ott Jackson both of Mounds, OK; mother, Judy Newton; sister, Tammi Steeples; father-in-law, Bobby Jackson; niece, Cassidee Steeples; nephews, Cameron Steeples, Corbin Steeples and Justin Gilbert; aunt and uncle, Mike and Lenora Newton and Sue Coggins; and several cousins, aunts, uncles and a multitude of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Ray Newton.
Memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.
