Danny Patrick McCoy

Danny Patrick McCoy was born to Larry and Bobbi McCoy on December 10, 1965 in California. He left this earth to go to his Heavenly Home on September 13, 2018 at 4:35 p.m. in his home, surrounded by his family and close friends.

Danny is survived by his wife, Donna McCoy, of the home; step-mother Ginger McCoy of Broken Arrow; brother Larry McCoy, Jr. and his wife Crystal of Claremore; brother Chris Hammond of Mt. Vernon, Washington; grandfather “Pa” Clifford Grover of Arcadia, CA; and many other sisters and brothers-in-law. He is also survived by many close friends he called “brothers,” numerous nieces and nephews and a very special family cat named Minnie. He was preceded in death by his father Larry McCoy, Sr.; mother Bobbie Simpson McCoy; and his favorite uncle Gene McCoy.

Danny met Donna, his soon to be wife, in 1991. They married February 12, 1994 in Kellyville, Oklahoma. The couple shared 24 years together. They made their home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Danny was employed by Enlow Tractors for 9 years. He assembled tractors and was also a ranch hand. He enjoyed going fishing, camping and playing the game Risk. He also enjoyed watching his favorite football team the Miami Dolphins, old time westerns and Survivor. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and listening to music.

Danny was loved by everyone who knew him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He loved being with his family and friends very much. He fought his long battle against cancer with great courage. He will be greatly missed but not forgotten.

Funeral Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Beams of Light Church in Sapulpa with Pastor Mike Harris officiating. The family has entrusted the services to Green Hill Funeral Home. 918-224-2312/www.greenhill.ok.com
