Claudette Pearson, 78, of Sapulpa passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
She was born on June 20th, 1942, in Lynnwood, California to Willard and Hazel Peachee. She attended schools in the North & South area of Los Angeles as this is where she met her husband, Van Pearson (Long Beach). They married October 10, 1964, in Reno, Nevada and moved to McAlester, Oklahoma but settled down in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. They were members of South Heights Assembly of God in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
She loved cooking, fishing and especially her precious cats.
She is survived by her daughters, Charlene and David England, Kiowa, Oklahoma and Teresa and Rickey Brown, Glenpool, Oklahoma.
Also, 2 granddaughters, Shawnda Pearson and Ashley Wynn, Sapulpa, Oklahoma, a grandson and his wife, Jonathan and Shauna Wynn of Wilburton, Oklahoma
She was preceded in death by her husband, Van Pearson on April 6th, 2015, and by her parents, Reverend Willard & Hazel Peachee.
Services will be held at South Heights Assembly of God Church, Thursday, June 24th at 10:30 am. The Reverend Bob Warman will be officiating with Pastor Sam Crenshaw assisting. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Kiowa, Oklahoma at 3:00 pm.
