Charles McCombs 77, of Sapulpa went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2021.
Charles was born on October 7, 1943, in Sapulpa to Joseph and Elsie McCombs. He was the youngest of 4 children.
Charles served in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1967 completing a tour in Vietnam. In 1967 he returned home to be with his devoted family.
In his free time, Charles enjoyed leather work, beading, and watch repair. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Charles was a good friend to many and loved his family deeply. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his 2 children, Kelly Murrel of Texas and Dustin McCombs of Sapulpa. He was blessed with 6 grandchildren, Russell Murrel, Haley Murrel, Ashley Alvarado, Krista McCombs, Sierra McCombs and Amelia Austin. He also has 5 great grandchildren, Avery Alvarado, Carter Parker, Kennedy Murrel, Nash Alvarado, and Aria Murrel.
He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa on Wednesday, September 22,2021 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, from 5-7 pm.
