Carla Abrams

Carla Jo Abrams went to her forever home at the age of 62. She passed away at her home in Sapulpa OK on February 11 2021. Carla Jo Abrams (Yates) was born in Puerto Rico to Hollis and Phyllis Yates on April 4, 1958. She grew up in Lubbock, Texas and she attended Lubbock High School. Throughout her life she was proud of her children and loved watching them grow into wonderful adults. Carla was diagnosed with Cancer multiple times and was a Cancer survivor. There isn’t much we can say about Carla that you don’t already know, she was well loved, she loved her children and grandchildren, and she was a joy to be around. She will be missed by so many and we can’t wait for the day until we see her again. Carla is survived by her children, Katie Champoux and husband Chris of Bristow, OK; Daniel Abrams of Sand Springs, OK; grandchildren Veronica and Riley Champoux; Kinsley Abrams; siblings, Jimmy Yates, David Yates, Glenda Stevens and Glen Yates; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Hollis and Phyllis Yates. She will be dearly missed by all and will never be forgotten by anyone who has crossed paths with her. Her love will still shine through when you look at her children and grandchildren. In the eyes of the Lord she is only sleeping and when he returns will awake to see her family once again. We do not know when the Lord will return but when he does, we will see her smiling face again. May we have comfort and peace knowing we will see Carla once again. Services are scheduled on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 2 pm at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
