Carl Dean Peacock, 83, of Sapulpa, passed from this life Thursday, October 6, 2022. He was born October 24, 1938, in Mannford, Oklahoma to Curtis Eugene and Myrtle Marie (Taylor) Peacock. He attended Olive Schools and proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving 2 years active duty and 4 years in the reserves.
Carl married the love of his life Patricia Hearn and they recently celebrated 57 years of marriage. He was an avid OU Sooners fan and was a very good softball pitcher and was a boxer during his military days. He enjoyed playing dominos and horseshoes and was very proud of his garden. However, his greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. He was loved deeply and will be greatly missed.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Marie Peacock; daughter Nancy Peacock; son Patrick Peacock; siblings Dorothy Bartley, L.C. Peacock, Burnis Peacock, Gene Peacock and Elmer Peacock and grandson Brandon Blair.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Peacock; children Clay Cody, Carla Owenby, Carl Dean Peacock Jr., Larry Peacock, Dorothy Cody and husband Gary, Ashley Peacock and Kimberly Peacock; siblings Cornella Clark and Louise Miller and husband Dutch; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
The family would like to thank The Gardens Nursing Home and A-Vow Hospice for their wonderful care.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville.
