Carl Coe

“Joe” passed away peacefully from this life surrounded by both of his sisters on August 21, 2019 at 10:04 pm. He was 69 years old.

Joe was born in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on March 19, 1950 to Carl Thomas and Deloris Jean (Thornton) Coe. He was the oldest of four children. He lived in Sapulpa and West Tulsa most of his life.

Joe loved to fish – it didn’t matter if it was a pond, creek, or lake, he just wanted to be fishing. A couple of his favorite fishing partners were his sister Vickey and niece Michelle. He also enjoyed back road driving, building model cars, and playing video games. He loved old trucks and he owned a 1960 pickup at one time. He even taught his youngest sister how to drive in his 1967 Chevy pickup.

He was quite the jokester, always teasing and aggravating people. He had a great sense of humor. Joe was very mechanical and he was good at working on just about anything including cars, radios and CB’s.

Joe met his wife Bessie in 1989, and they were together until her passing in 2003.

Joe is survived by his sisters, Eva Woods, and husband, Dennis, Vickey Hahn, and husband Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; Michelle Laughter, Robert Geer, Daniel Crew, Tiffani Mabe, William Dyck, Kayli Brazeal, and Blake Hahn. Great nieces and nephews; Haley Marshall, Bernadette Resendez, Kaleb Laughter, Cheyanne Crew, Markus Dyck, Hayden Mabe, Nathan Dyck, Zoe Geer, Avery Mabe, Shane Crew, Carson Brazeal, Deborah Crew, and Quinlee Brazeal.
