Carl C. Rogers went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2018. He passed away at home surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Kellyville, Oklahoma on May 15, 1935 to Temia and Ollie Rogers.
Carl attended and graduated from Kellyville Schools. He married Bonnie Pickett, the love of his life, and they had a wonderful 61 years and 7 months together. Carl worked for Liberty Glass for more than 20 years and then went to work for the Sapulpa City Garage until his retirement. He loved going to the lake, regardless of how warm or cold the weather. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Temia and Ollie Rogers; brothers Leo, Raymond, Truman and Coleman Rogers; and sisters Violet German and Vera Reed. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Rogers, of the home; daughter Vickie Rogers Farrill and her husband Don of Cleveland, OK; daughter Debra Rogers Baker and her husband Russell of Sapulpa, OK; son Joe Rogers and his wife Terri of Sapulpa, OK; grandchildren Alecia Smith of Owasso, Tiffany Southard of Sand Springs, Todd Rogers of Tulsa, Preston Baker of Harrah, Cordell Baker of Salt Lake City, Utah; great-grandchildren Kylee Southard, Kamrin Jones, Brecken Baker, Cyrus Baker, Presley Baker, Adrian McCreary and Avery McCreary. He was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Services are scheduled at 10:30 am on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
