He then joined his family back in Sapulpa where he worked in the family business , Kerr’s Body Shop. He had a passion for cars and was good at what he loved. After his parents sold the business he worked for a few other locally owned body shops . He later retired and moved to Drumright. He enjoyed attending his children and grandchildren’s functions. He was very dedicated to his yard work- something he enjoyed to do daily. He loved to take usual weekend drives and come visit his son and daughter every Sunday – a routine that will be sadly missed. Always leaving you with a a hug and I love you.

Dad was a simple man with a request of no service or memorial. Saying hard is difficult to do with out a traditional closure but we wanted to honor Dad’s wishes. To all the friends and family- thank you for your support . Special thank you to Post Acute Medical Care for such compassionate care of our Daddy in his final days. Thank you to Smith’s Funeral Home for their dedication and compassion.

Holding onto my daddy was hard but letting was harder. May he no longer suffer.
