On Sunday December 10, 2023 Bobby Lawrence Cochran, age 72, took his final ride.
He was born on September 8, 1951 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to James Clinton and Louiese Estelle Cochran.
He is proceeded in death by his parents and son Bobby Lawrence Cochran Jr.
He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Ann Cochran; Brother Kenneth (Donna) Cochran and Sister Linda Faye (Homer) Rideout. Beloved Nieces Angel, Pamela, Kayela and Nephew Kenny “Roo” along with many other family and friends.
Bobby graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1970. He worked at Chevrolet Garage in Sapulpa as a Mechanic during high school. Soon after he was drafted to the Army.
Halloween was his favorite Holiday; he was the brains and the mechanic of transforming his sisters’ garage into the best haunted house in the south part of Sapulpa. Making popcorn balls with a cup of coffee in hand at the bar, with his sister nearby, was the cherry on top. Camping at Heyburn Lake, setting limblines, staying up all night cooking, then falling asleep on top of the picnic table without a shirt on. Dumping his brother behind the boat on skies was his absolute favorite.
But his greatest joy was being known throughout Creek County for his 1961 Red Chevy Impala, mastermind of motor skills, and his building of Three-wheel Motorcycles, boats and anything with three wheels that he could show off in the Sapulpa Christmas Parade.
