Billy Ray “Bill” Harris was born January 16, 1940 and passed away on February 18, 2019. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a faithful friend to many.
Bill lived his entire life in Sapulpa, and he loved this town. He worked as a carpenter for Dee Ausmus Construction, so he had a hand in building or remodeling many, many structures in Sapulpa. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and gardening. He loved anything to do with his grandkids. Bill never missed a Friday night football game if one of his grandsons were playing.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents D.A. and Elsie Harris, his sisters Eva Montz, Barbara Campbell and Janice Lundsford, As well as two sons Randy Eugene and Curtis “Allen”. Bill is survived by wife Marian, three sons; John Hall, Jeff Harris and wife Marie and Todd Hall and wife Sheryl, two daughters; Jill Troxell and husband Kenneth and Jennifer Reynolds and husband Lester, one sister Leola Lowry and one brother Dick Harris. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and several great- grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday February 27,2019 at Green hill Funeral Home Chapel in Sapulpa.
