A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Beverly “Ann” Churchill will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 22, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Okmulgee. A graveside service will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery.
On July 13, 2019, the beloved Beverly “Ann” Churchill went to be with her Lord and savior. Ann was born September 27, 1942, to the late Alta Mae and Lenord LeRoy Vaughn.
On April 23, 1960, she married the love of her life Jim Ray Churchill. Soon after they moved to Seminole Texas. While in Seminole, they welcomed their two beautiful daughters Gayelynn and Jeannean. In 1968 they made their way back to Oklahoma and moved to Sapulpa where they lived for 20 years. While in Sapulpa, Ann worked at American National Bank and welcomed their first grandchild Annber. In 1988 Ann and Jim bought Ace Hardware and moved back to Okmulgee. They owned Ace Hardware for many years until closing the doors in 2001. Ann soon after started working at Morris State Bank on February 1, 2002. While working at the bank, Ann made many friends who became a second family to her. She loved her job at the bank and the different people she got to see and talk to every day. She worked at the bank until she retired December 11, 2018.
Ann is proceeded in death by her late husband Jim Churchill and son-in-law Cal Ledford and many brothers and sisters.
Ann leaves behind her two daughters Gayelynn Churchill Sears and husband Tony of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, as well as Jeannean Churchill Ledford. Her grandchildren Annber Lay and husband Phillip of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Christopher Liddy of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Paul Sears and wife Morgan of Morris.Grandchildren include, Carson and Raylee. As well as her great grandchildren Mattie Jaxson Alana Archer and Charlie. Along with her many nieces nephews and many friends.
Ann was a very beloved mother grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
