Betty Sue (Guinn) Harper of Sapulpa was born July 22, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jesse and Bessie (Donaldson) Guinee. She passed from this life December 11, 2018, at Arbor Village in Sapulpa
Betty grew up in the Pretty Water area, attending both Pretty Water and Sapulpa schools. It was there she first met the love of her life, Don Harper.
Betty and Don were married March 4, 1969 in Sapulpa at Westside Free Will Baptist Church. They were married 49 happy, amazing years. They were blessed with two children, Tony and Crystal. Hardly one day spent apart.
Betty was a housewife and mother. She was a preschool teacher at Precious Friends Preschool in Kellyville, and cleaned houses most of her life. Betty had immense faith and love for God and her family. Kind, creative and joyous, she was loved by everyone who met her. She was the most amazing grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse Guinn Sr. and Bessie (Donaldson) Guinn; her brothers Jesse Jr., Don, Gene, and Johnny Lee; her sister in law Barbara Guinn; and beloved husband Don Harper.
She is survived by her son Tony Harper and her daughter in law Shelly Harper, Daughter Crystal Harper; brothers Doug, Ron, Rick and Roger Guinn; sisters Mary Brockus and Linda Stanton; grandsons Hunter, Logan, Dylan and Preston; granddaughters Natalie and Josie; great granddaughter Jolene. And so many nieces, nephews, family and friends she loved so much.
Services are scheduled for Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
