Betty Rush

Betty Lou Rush 84 passed from this life on Dec. 31st, 2019. Betty was born August 5th, 1935 in Vian, Ok. To Elmo And Hella Burke. She graduated from Sapulpa High School and resided in Sapulpa most of her life. Betty was active in PTA and served as President for several years. She also was a campfire girls’ leader and prepares taxes for many years free to the public. She also volunteered for the red cross with her husband Clarence Rush. She married Clarence Benton Rush August 31st, 1966 and they raised five children together. Betty enjoyed crocheting, art and crafts, and spending time with her family and grandkids. She was very proud of the fact that she was a great, great grandma. She was the first person called when someone needed something. She was proceeded in death by her husband Clarence Rush, 2 sons John Lile and Tommy Musgrove, and grandson Jesse Blackburn. She is survived by Rita Blackburn and husband Bob, Peggy Fields and husband Mike, and Robert Bargeron son. Grandkids Steven Blackburn, Justin Plum, Mike Adkins, Jay Lile, Tonya Batchelor, eight great grand kids and one great great grandchild. Services will be held Wednesday, January 8th at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home 1208 South Main in Sapulpa.
