Betty Jo Dugan was born February 12, 1947 in Ashdown, Arkansas to parents Berton and Inez Womack. She was one of nine children. Betty gained her angel wings January 1, 2020 with her family by her side.
Betty grew up in Stockton, California before relocating to Sapulpa, Oklahoma in 1984. After her move, she met and married her loving husband, Randy Dugan. Betty and Randy spent 35 happy years together. They loved working in their yard together and sitting together on their front porch, just talking about life and enjoying family.
Talented in many ways, Betty enjoyed making quilts, painting and crocheting. She could sew beautifully and made her children many quilts and other homemade crafts. She passed down her knowledge and love of sewing and cooking to her daughters and granddaughters. She always made everyone feel welcome with a smile and a hug and always had a kind or encouraging word, not knowing how much you needed it.
Betty is survived by her husband Randy Dugan; her son Michael Childress; daughter Kozeta Cameron and husband Brian; daughter Carolee Moreno and husband Joe; son Steven Dugan and wife Ashleigh; daughter Cindy Stanford; grandchildren Samantha Orosco and husband Rudy, Britteny Lewis and husband Eric, Cyle Stobaugh and wife Kendra, Kassie Cameron, Ryan Moreno, Kelsey Moreno, Cassidy Sharp and husband Justin, Lauren Stevenson and husband Caleb, Tara Cameron, Madison Stanford, Kyleigh Greene, McKenzie Greene; great-grandchildren Sophia Sherman, Easton Ricketson, Alister Sharp, Rowan Sharp, Sally Sherman, Olivia Orosco, Jason Stobaugh, Avery Stevenson and her sidekick Norman.
